We're Going Vertical!!!!

As the battlefields during the Global War on Terror change, we all remember the inadequacies of equipment and tactics that were faced in mountains of Afghanistan. The altitude, the weather, and the landscape led to an increase of requirements for what we needed our equipment to do. As we looked for equipment, we set the criteria as "what did we wish we had". This criteria was clearly met by our newest partner Raichle and the Mammut Sports Group. For those of you that know Raichle, you are familiar with their world renowned quality and reputation. Our contact, Amy Filerman, is the hardest core climber woman that is the walking advertisement for the climbing industry. Credibility is what she has and what we at Guardian Gear are all about. When we talk equipment, she uses the magic phrase we like to hear when we are considering a line, "I used this (piece of equipment) when I was (doing some activity)". When you think mountaineering, you think Amy. She has been very patient with us as we are learning the specifics of the line and the intricacies of the alpine sports.
